Chengdu Disgraceland

A few months ago, boingboing.net had a link to “Disgraceland, PRC”, which is an abandoned theme park on the outskirts of Chengdu. Officially, it was named “The World Landscape Park”.

I figured I would never see this place, but on the bus ride out to Siguniangshan, we went right past it. most of the park is hidden behind a row of houses, but you can see parts of the exhibits over the rooftops.

On the way back, I snapped this shot of the main entrance from the rear window of the bus.

I considered visiting this place (and sneaking in), but it has already been well-documented here: Disgraceland, PRC (link broken).
