There are several wedding parties in the park.
This photo shows the fancy wedding photo setup used to photograph this couple. Then, the brides have to hike along the boardwalk, holding up their dresses to avoid dragging them, usually with big frowns and worried foreheads.
In Chengdu, I saw a large number of wedding photo shops. It must be popular to have really fancy wedding photos in China. Most of them do it the easy way, though: shoot the bride and groom against a green-screen, and then composite them into a beautiful location in Photoshop.
